Jasper van Gorp joined Gilde Healthcare in 2008 following nearly ten years with McKinsey & Company. At McKinsey, Jasper was a junior partner working in Healthcare and various other sectors. He gained deep international expertise in operational turnarounds, M&A, corporate strategy, business development and regulatory management.
Jasper is co-founder of the Gilde Healthcare Private Equity funds and is responsible for the fund management and investments of these funds. He led the investment in amongst others Stepping Stones, Pharmaline, Viroclinics, RAD-x, NIZO and ACE Pharmaceuticals and serves or served as board member for these portfolio companies.
Jasper van Gorp has a MSc in Pharmacy and a PharmD from Utrecht University and also studied at University of California San Diego. In addition he received an MBA from INSEAD in France specializing in Corporate Finance, Private Equity & Venture Capital. He is a Dutch national.
