Susana joined Gilde Healthcare in 2021. As Investment Manager for Gilde’s Venture & Growth team, Susana focuses on the healthtech sector, handling deal sourcing, investment diligence, and portfolio management.

Before joining Gilde, she was a Biodesign Innovation Fellow at Stanford University. She also participated in the MIT-Harvard Medical School Healthcare Innovation Bootcamp and worked as a Project Manager at Biotronik, after beginning her career as an engineer at Xeltis.

Susana holds a Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Minho, Portugal, with a study abroad experience at the University of Groningen, the Netherlands.
