Stephan Wachtveitl joined the private equity team of Gilde Healthcare in 2020. He is involved in deal origination, assessment of investment cases, (dis)investment processes and portfolio management.

Prior to joining Gilde Healthcare, Stephan began his career at AUCTUS where he was focused on buy & build concepts in the German mid-market as well as the management of a portfolio company in the healthcare sector. Stephan holds a MSc in Management & Technology from Technical University Munich (TUM), and studied as a Fulbright Scholar at Columbia University, New York. He speaks German, English and Dutch.
