Robert Stein joined Gilde Healthcare as Partner of the private equity team in Frankfurt am Main in 2021. He is responsible for the sourcing, execution and hands-on management of portfolio companies. Robert’s focus is the German speaking region. Robert is a board member of DETAX Group.

He worked for Arthur Andersen in the areas of audit and transaction services after completing his studies in business economics. For more than 25 years Robert has been active in Private Equity and successfully sourced, executed and managed investments in the German speaking area and internationally. After his career at 3i Group plc and Argantis he became an entrepreneur himself, mainly focusing on sourcing, executing and managing direct investments for Family Offices and private clients. Robert has a broad experience in working successfully with entrepreneurs and management teams in his role as advisor and board member of private and listed companies.
