Jelte joined the Private Equity team of Gilde Healthcare in 2023. He is involved in deal origination, assessment of investment cases, (dis)investment processes and portfolio management.

Prior to joining Gilde Healthcare, Jelte worked at life sciences tools scale-up LUMICKS where he was involved in multiple capital raisings, strategic finance planning and business reviews. Moreover, Jelte gained experience in investment banking at Lazard and Corporate Finance International.

Jelte holds a MSc in Finance & Investments and a LLM in Financial Law from Erasmus University, Rotterdam. He completed his bachelor’s in international business administration at the VU in Amsterdam, while spending part of his curriculum at the University of Cape Town, South Africa.
