Diener (2022), Koscher & Würtz (2023), Rudischhauser (2026), BENTEC Endoscopy (2026) and Hermann Medizintechnik (2026) Gilde Healthcare has formed the leading group of specialized contract manufacturers SPI Group (“SPI”). Building on market leading reputations and many decades of experience, the companies specialize in designing and manufacturing precision surgical instruments. SPI manufactures reusable- and disposable instruments and implants, for world-class Original Equipment Manufacturers in various fields of surgery, including orthopaedic- and spinal surgery, endoscopy and neurosurgery.

The group employes ca.500 highly skilled workers across six production locations in the south of Germany. Being part of one group allows the companies to offer their clients an even broader portfolio of products, while benefitting from the sharing of expertise and best practices.

With ongoing consolidation in the surgical instrument market, Gilde Healthcare sees opportunities to continue to expand the group through further acquisitions.
