Wim Schimmel is a seasoned executive and supervisory board member. After he spend 20 years running the growth of the consulting company Verdonck, Klooster & Associates, he held various interim and permanent C-level positions at SME companies such as ArboUnie, LUMC, Decos, Performation, Noordhoff and Essange reagents. Next to this, he has held various supervisory board positions, including at Northgo College, Oval, VZVZ, NEN and Florence.

He has a degree in Computer Science from University of Twente in the Netherlands.

As an Operational Partner he advises Gilde Healthcare on various of their portfolio companies and also takes interim board roles, such as with Performation and Essange.
