Professor Gerlach Cerfontaine
Gerlach Cerfontaine brings extensive experience in Healthcare and the public sector in general. He was CEO of Utrecht University Hospital, Medical Director of Wilhelmina Children’s Hospital, Medical Director of a psychiatric hospital, Professor of Hospital Care at Utrecht University, chairman of a leading think-tank on healthcare reforms (Seneca) and chairman of the Supervisory Board of the OLVG Hospital in Amsterdam. In addition he was CEO of Schiphol Airport for nearly ten years.
Previously he was Professor of Innovation Policy at Maastricht University, Professor of Corporate Governance at Utrecht University and held several additional advisory and board positions.
He was trained as a medical doctor and a psychotherapist.
He advises on market developments in Healthcare Services as well as in Healthcare Technologies.
