Josephine Bogaerts joined the private equity team of Gilde Healthcare in 2021. She is involved in deal origination, assessment of investment cases, (dis)investment processes and portfolio management.

Prior to joining Gilde Healthcare, Josephine worked in strategy consulting for Simon-Kucher & Partners where she managed global projects for leading healthcare & life science clients. Josephine supported her clients in building commercial excellence (pricing, marketing, go-to-market and sales), commercial growth and market access strategies. Further, she developed expertise on the Belgian and Dutch healthcare system.

Josephine received an MSc in International Management and Strategy from Vlerick Business School in Brussels, Belgium and an MSc in Business Economics and Administration from the University of Antwerp, Belgium. She further holds an BSc in Business Engineering from the University of Antwerp, Belgium. She is a Belgian citizen and speaks Dutch, English and French.
