Giel joined the Private Equity team of Gilde Healthcare in 2024. He is involved in deal origination, assessment of investment cases, investment & divestment processes and portfolio management.

Prior to joining Gilde Healthcare, Giel worked in the real estate development sector at Bakkers Hommen, where he was involved in the acquisition and development of large-scale real estate projects. Moreover, Giel gained experience in Private Equity at Rabobank and Parcom.

Giel holds a MSc degree in Finance & Investments from the Erasmus University of Rotterdam.
