Christiaan Sap is a seasoned manager and serial entrepreneur. In 2006 he founded Stepping-Stones, a Netherlands based network of high-quality private nursery homes with 24/7 specialized care and residential services to elderly patients suffering from dementia. Stepping-Stones was the first investment of Gilde Healthcare Private Equity in 2010 and was sold to the Euronext Paris listed company Korian SA. Prior to this he was managing director and, after the MBO, co-owner of Radio Holland Group after a successful MBO company active in the supply and service of navigation and communication equipment to the maritime industry. Recently he was interim manager with Cargo Control Company.
He holds MSC’s in Building Engineering & Management from Eindhoven University of Technology and Business Management from Nijenrode University.
As an Operational Partner to Gilde Healthcare, he has held interim positions with other portfolio companies, such as Novicare, and is currently chairman of the supervisory board with the Scharenborg Group.
