Hein joined Gilde in 2025 as co-founding partner for the Climate Solutions fund.

He has been a private equity investor most of his professional life, having worked at Rivean Capital (former Gilde Buy-Out Partners) from 1999 until 2023. At Rivean, Hein was involved in numerous transactions, mostly in advanced industrial technology including water purification, advanced materials and filtration. Prior to joining Rivean he worked for Morgan Stanley’s M&A group

Hein holds a Master’s degree in Economics from Maastricht University, the Netherlands.
