David joined Gilde Healthcare in 2024 and was part of the team that started the Climate Solutions strategy. He is Partner for the Climate Solutions fund and responsible for deal origination and execution, as well as active portfolio company management.

Previously, David worked for more than 15 years in private equity at Vendis Capital and Rivean Capital, and on value creation projects with other (inter)national private equity funds. Before that he started his career at Credit Suisse in M&A.

David holds a Master’s degree in Finance & Investments from Erasmus University Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
