Martin Frey has over 35 years experience in investment banking with UBS Investment Bank, Lehman Brothers and PwC in New York, Chicago, London and Zurich, where he was focusing mainly on the life science industry. Positions held during that time included Head Life Science Latin America at UBS, Head Life Science Switzerland at Lehman Brothers and Head Corporate Finance/M&A at PwC Switzerland. He left PwC after reaching retirement age in 2023 to join Gilde Healthcare as a Senior Advisor.

He obtained his Ph.D. in Business Administration from the University of Walden, Minneapolis, USA, after graduating with a degree in Economics at the University of Basel in Switzerland.

He is also engaged as an investor and supports corporate clients as senior advisor and Board member.
