Stephanie Mooij joined Gilde Healthcare in Sept. 2022 as ESG/Impact manager. She has been working in this field for a decade, most recently as responsible investment manager at Aegon Asset Management. This is where she was part of the investment committee for the Aegon ABN AMRO Global Equity Impact Fund and led the engagement activities for the fund. Her role also involved integrating ESG in alternative fixed income and she set up a measurement and documentation system for the global engagement activities of Aegon Asset Management.

Prior to that, Stephanie obtained her PhD from Oxford University. The research entailed the role of the ESG rating and ranking industry and the obstacles to responsible investment in the investment chain in the UK, the Netherlands and Germany. Other work experience was gained as an equity analyst at Ownership Capital, a concentrated and long-term investor. Moreover, internships were done at GIMV and Duff & Phelps.

For her Msc degree, Stephanie graduated cum laude and with honours from Erasmus University in finance and investments. She speaks English, Dutch and German.
