Besmire Ahmati joined Gilde Healthcare in June 2023 as Associate Investor Relations and Fundraising. She is focused on supporting the firm’s fundraising activities, investor relationships and communications.

Besmire joins Gilde with previous LP experience from PGGM where she was part of the Private Equity team as a Junior Investment Manager investing in a global portfolio of private equity funds and co-investments. Prior to PGGM, Besmire worked as an investment analyst in distressed assets transactions in private markets for FMO – the Dutch Entrepreneurial Development Bank. She began her career at Van Lanschot Kempen as an investment graduate.

Besmire holds a BSc in Finance from Bocconi University and a MSc in Financial Economics from Erasmus University. She is fluent in English, Italian and Albanian.
