Varsha joined Gilde Healthcare in 2025 and works across the Private Equity and Venture & Growth teams, supporting in assessing climate-related impacts and risks while also driving the implementation of ESG initiatives within the firm’s portfolios. 

Prior to joining Gilde, she was with Nexio Projects, a sustainability consultancy in the Netherlands, where she specialized in greenhouse gas emissions measurement, decarbonization, lifecycle assessment, and climate risk strategy development. Earlier in her career, she gained experience in India across a renewable energy start-up, an environmental consulting firm, and a climate-focused venture network. 

She holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Ecology from TU Delft and Leiden University in the Netherlands, and a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology from SRM Institute of Technology in India.
