Michel joined Climate Solutions in 2025 as a General Partner. 

He was a founding (and managing) partner of Dutch/German lower mid-market private equity firm Avedon Capital Partners and investment director at its predecessor fund NIBC Capital Partners. At Avedon and NIBC Capital Partners, Michel was involved in numerous investments in growth and buy & build in primarily software, technology and services. Before that, he worked at PwC (Transaction Services), Waterland Private Equity Investments and in the Assurance Practice of Arthur Andersen. 

Michel studied Business Economics and is a Certified Public Accountant (Nyenrode University and Erasmus University.
